Its been awhile since a New Arena Shooter

I personally would like to see a hardcore 1v1 or 2v2 Multiplayer Shooter similar to Quake or Doom rise up and create a new franchise as the cornerstone of PC Gaming

The new Unreal Tournament is poised to become the premier Arena FPS game and maybe one of the premier FPS games in general, but it's hard to imagine that it could become a cornerstone of PC gaming in general. I suggest the OP definitely investigate it. It's still fun to play even it doesn't draw MOBA or CSGO crowds, and it's free!

Not necessarily small team, that's just a preference, a major Arena Shooter in eSports would revitalize the genre and Overwatch has potential
