Gratz, I don't have the will power to stop at the moment, partly because I really enjoy a lot of my cigarettes, I do intend to give up eventually.

Either way, good for you, stick with it :)

You think I didn't enjoy my smokes? I loved it! I just woke up one morning and said WTF am I doing to myself and called it quits.

Awesome! When you get up to a full year, you can buy yourself a nice flat screen TV with the money you've saved from not buying cigarettes.

Wow, you're doing great. Keep it up - soon you'll gag when you think of having one. Well, unless you have some of these:  ;)

Yeah I know the feeling, the majority of people I know who smoke, however, often if not always have the attitude, "I smoke purely because I'm addicted, I don't even enjoy smoking anymore".

Heck if that were the case I would definately put the effort into stopping!

Did you just pack it up cold turkey or did you waste money on pointless pads that make you want to smoke more?

Cold turkey. Gave away the rest of my carton to a coworker. I will never smoke again.

sweet. my last one was on christmas day. this is after 9 years of heavy smoking. i had super mood swings. the sweats. insomnia. flu like symptoms and other crap for like a month straight.

I did that cold turkey too but the thing that still gets me is the physical habit of always putting something near my mouth every so once in a while.

Keep it up. Gives me the inspiration I need to think about trying to quit again.

Congrats!

I only smoked for a few years when I quit. I did it cold turkey, which is the best way I think. My GF and I quit together then we broke up about a month later. She started smoking again but I did not.

To the rest of you smokers, it's easier to quit when you're younger. Do it now because the longer you wait the harder it is to quit.

Great Job! I personally have been smoke free for 11 months and I feel great. I have had thoughts of having a cig but when I look at what I have accomplished only an idiot would fall back into addiction.

Keep up the good work,
