It's been a pretty good day....

1. I finished my roof. It looks great, and I am proud of doing it myself.

2. Got the word that I am getting a new position that will lift me out of graduate student pay and into researcher pay.

3. Got an additional offer (from a different university) for 2 days of consultant work plus some on-going advisory work at the rate of 1,500/day.

when I did my roof, there were about 5 ppl doing it. It took about a full 4 days. If he do it himself, hmm I am guess 1 week?
