bitten my nails. I usually only do it when i'm nervous or bored, but kinda grown them out. I plan to cut them soon and keep them groomed instead of biting them down.

cool idea,
i know someone, who got a really bad infection, and almost lost thier thumb from biting thier nails
the Dr at the hospital said the human mouth has Lots of nasty infections, and that a few people have ended up Dying from human bites!!
Btw i bought some nail clippers for like $1.29 at the local drug store and always carry them, and ,a Swiss Army knife. ;)
Hang in there, i Know You Can Do IT!!

I can honestly say I've never used a clipper for my nails for at least 5 years (really)

I bite them off.. not because I'm nervous, just because I get a kick out of it and it's kind of satisfying.. yea call me weird.

clippers are used only for my toes.

I have the same bad habbit. I pretty much have no nails. Do you have any suggestions on how to quit.

Paint your nails with a clear/toxic nail polish.
Of course you run the risk of becoming addicted to that also.

Funny, I've been trying to quit for the past couple weeks myself. I've been biting my nails for as long as I can remember, hard habit to break. It's going pretty good. Now I can actually feel my nails when I wash my hair, and I'll get bar soap and stuff stuck under them. It's an odd feeling. :p
