it's been 3 months but only 1500 miles

the owner's manual for my 15-year-old car specifies 6 months/7500 miles. Come to think of it, my last car was pretty similar too. And I hear newer cars have even LONGER intervals.

Changing oil often, often depends on driving style. If your 1500 miles are mostly highway then no worries. 1500 miles under grueling city stop & go driving, then you prolly want to change it. Now 1500 miles of track use kepping your rpm's above 5000rpm and your motor under lots of stress and heat then for damn sure change your oil, and you should have done it 1000 miles ago :confused:
