yeah..surprisingly nobody it talking abt them as well for some weird reason! its well past 00 00 hrs in most parts of the world now.

I have heard that Redmond usually does it's thing late morning to noon (PST), but that's not written in stone.
I am also EST and look for sometime this afternoon.

Hehe you should feel sorry for those that have to wait until 22nd Oct like myself ;) ...There is a positive side since they will iron out a few bugs by then via Windows Update so I can wait :).

Can't wait. I am going to download this as soon as it appears. I bet the servers will be hammered the second it comes out. lol :(

that is my thought. i wish they would have released it at midinight to help take some of the initial load off the servers. i was hoping to install it on my work laptop today since just yesterday an windows update failed and hosed the thing. o well.

that is a very sensationalistic headline. from what i have read it is fixed most of the time with chipset drivers updates.

So the Enterprise Edition only gets one key and is labeled "MulitpleActivation"

Anyone know how many times it can be activated?

...including a license allowing the running of multiple virtual machines, and activation via VLK.

That's a good question... guess there is only one way to find out..

Good lord, I have a 7000/512 connection and I started dl at 310kb/sec and now I am down to dial-up speed with 8 to 10 hours to go.
