It's amazing what you'll watch in HD just because it's in HD.

I sat this afternoon through an entire showing of In The Army Now. Yes, the one with Pauly Shore and Andy Dick. And only because it was in very nice looking HD on Showtime or some other premium channel.

Anything you guys have sat and watched just because it was in HD?

i wish i could stick an HD toothpick in Andy Dick's eyeballs. for some irrational reason, i depise that guy.

How much extra is HD service through someone like Time Warner?

You get the networks, HBO and Showtim (if you subscribe to them), PBS, TNT, Discovery HD, and an HD SPecials channel that plays random crap all for free.

INHD (4 channels) and ESPN HD are extra

I've never watched pre-season football until this year (Colts vs. Broncos last night in HD)

I watch a lot more TV just because it's in HD. HD with DVR is only $9.95/mo with Comcast. You get all the networks, INHD1 and 2, ESPNHD, TNTHD, DiscoveryHD and the PBS HD stations.
