It's almost 2022... where is my Soylent Green?

According to one of my favorite classic Sci Fi movies, Soylent Green should be coming out any day now. Where is it?!?

I mean, sure, it's made with people... but I've heard that it's pretty tasty!

Modern science already failed to deliver flying cars and floating hoverboards in 2015 as promised in Back to The Future 2. Looks like we're getting screwed again.

I thought about it, but I've heard that they aren't very good and they give you gas.

Besides, it's probably the people parts in the green version that give it the flavor!

It looks like it would be a good "dessert" flavor. Probably doesn't taste much like the "real" thing, though.

I'd speculate rodents like mice or rat would taste similar as well.....

the past five years have taught me a great deal. Not the least of which is the average American is REALLY stupid, lazy, and spoiled. If we ever need to make soylent green we're screwed, cuz most of us won't have the expertise. It won't be a morality issue, I can be absolutely sure of that.

Hey now... if that movie taught us anything, is that capitalists are willing to produce ANYTHING if there is a profit in making it. ANYTHING 🙂
