The Rolling Rock Brewery has been sold and closed down after more than 150 years of continuous operation. 🙁

Hee hee - I was thinking the same thing. The ONLY good thing about Rolling Rock is the cool painted bottle - the beer itself is swill. Maybe the displaced workers can go work at a club soda plant, since that's essentially the same product as Rolling Rock.

I loved rooling rock beer (when I drank) too bad about the workers. I hope they will really re-open it and bring back all the old workers and not hire all new ones.

Oh wow, surprising. I actually liked Rolling Rock Green Light...mostly because it tasted like water, since I hate beer.

At least I've got Heineken Light to get me by now.

When I clicked into this thread, I was praying that it wouldnt be about Yuengling being shut down...

yeah cuz yuengling is brewed in pittsburgh, not pottsville.

Rolling Rock is trendy ****** beer though, so no big loss. As long as we still have Iron City though...
