We live in NW Houston up in Magnolia... we didn't flood but several creeks around us ran out of their banks... our other house down closer to town had an inch of water. Neighbors around that area had 6-12 inches of water in their houses... its pretty bad, they've declared a state of emergency. 2 deaths already. pretty bad. Let your fellow anandtechers know that your alright and tell us your experiences.

My street flooded .
Ironic thing is that Last week they started to replace the sewage pipes. Not only did we have tons of dirt stacked in my yard, the had some in the street, blockage a sewer.
This is real bad because...my house is on an intersection...and so we have 4 sewers
almost every time it rains it floods a little bit, even with 4 drainage sewers
now the dirt blocked TWO of them, and it rained like what 7 hours?
jesus
lol, at least my parents werent complaining about our steep driveway this time :p
unfortunately..our van had broke and we left it at a friends house so he could work on it. His street was flooded almost to his freakin house, and so our van was full of water along with his 2 vehicles.
It was scary looking outside this morning and seeing a river almost to my front door =[
man i should of taken some pictures.
to me, I thikn we are lucky.....extremely lucky...other houses were submerged in water. =[
my best wishes to them
