Update:
Talked to the neighbors, these are wild rabbits. Got away from some kids about 15 years ago.
Put the bunny on CL for free and actually got a call before the ad was flagged and removed. Dude is on his way for some bunny loving.
One of the neighbors must have rabbits that had some bunnies. Yesterday morning my wife came running in from the back yard. There was something "dead out there". It was black and furry. She thought it might be part of the cat that adopted us. Nope, it was part of a bunny.
That evening, she came running back in again. The cat had a bunny. This one suffered only minor injuries. It will be fine. Now I can raise it up big and fat and eat it. :awe:
Kidding.
I think the neighbors let them run wild in their yard. So if we give it back, the cats will eat it. Poor fuzzybabybunny. My wife's really at a conundrum. It's soft and cuddly but she knows the cats have to eat too. (They are wild neighborhood cats).
