Yeah, there's 2-3 inches of snow falling in Detroit and it's supposed to be 45° on Friday...after our big snowfall in December we've hardly had any snow.

Plenty of...rain, though.

Did you forget about the January thaw that comes each year?

Yeah, I heard parts of I-65 were shutdown this morning...not sure if it was due to accidents or ice on bridges. My wife had a few issues getting to work this morning (UAB).

Yeah the weather seems to be really messed up this year:confused:

Here in Texas it's been all over the map. Back in early Dec we had a few days where the high temp was 7-10f(unusually cold), but since Christmas we've had several weeks of crazy warm weather 75-85. In the last week it seems to change daily 60's one day, 40's the next, high 70's the next.

The only thing that seems consistent here is the total lack of rainfall(severe drought) and high winds

Global Smobal. Last year we had snow all the time, the year before was almost like this. In 2003 we had 8 - 12 inches of snow on the ground after one snowfall. Mother nature knows what she is doing and global warming is not in her plans.

You seem to be relying on your 'gut'.
