It's 4-1 St. Louis in the 5th, are the Braves going to become the Bills of the MLB? *edit* Why yes they will!

Well, the Braves did win a World Series in '95. Da Bills went to the big show four straight times without a title.

Somebody oughta' tell the Yankees that they can't trade for anymore players once the playoffs start, I think they just tried to pickup another overpaid power hitter...

I think the Yankees should change their name to the New York Blockbuster

As in the rental store :)

Yeah now with the Braves out I'm hoping that the Giants win. Mainly because a Mets - Yankees series would be my worst nightmare.

Being a Braves fan in ACC country, I now know how it feels to be a UNC Tarheel fan....going to the playoffs every year and rarely winning it all. :(

Bad thing is, I've caught myself starting to offer the same arguments that Tarhole fans do to explain my team's lack of finishing power "well, they are there every year..."
To you non-ACC fans, I am referring to UNC's habit of having one of the best college basketball teams in the country every year, having gone to 15 Final Fours, with only 3 championships.
The Braves fall into that category, I think.

Did anyone see the Giants game? A friend I grew up with and went to high school with (Aaron Fultz) gave up the game winning home run. I feel sorry for Aaron since this is his first year in the Majors and something like this happens. Has to be tuff on him. Even though he isn't famous yet, I guess he is the closest to famous I will ever know.

Yes! Yes! What an awesome game! I would've posted earlier, but I just got done watching the tape (was away all day). And what? Atlanta only got 3 hits the whole game?

Come on Mets! Beat the Giants tomorrow so we can get home field advantage and make it a better series!!

Oh, and if some small, slim, tiny chance that the Cards don't go all the way this year (remember, they have that 18 year plan), they will within the next few years, maybe all, and I can GUARANTEE you that. Why? They have virtually everyone locked up into contract! Vina: locked. Renteria: locked. Edmonds: locked. Drew: locked. Their whole pitching staff basically locked. And their bullpen, possibly their weakest position, has come through tremendously this postseason! Oh and I wouldn't mind having Clark start 1st base next year either, with McGwire as a pinch hitter.

What a great time to be a Cardinals fan...
