Since there are 200 users logged into the Forums I have a question.

How many are here because they're like me and can't sleep for crap. I never used to get online in the middle of the night before my wife and I separated. Now I guess I might as well since I don't have to worry about waking anyone up. I just have to be able to get up in 3 hours.

I hate not being able to sleep though, I've always been a poor sleeper. Hmmmmm, had no lunch or dinner today so maybe I'll raid th kids Froot Loops before they get to them this weekend.

Maybe that can put me to sleep.

Mmmmm, the Froot Loops were good. Where's the Corn Pops?

I don't think the sugar is gonna help me sleep.

BTW 2:00am EDT and I'm also a "crack head".

Well, it's now 12:23 and I'm up because I can't stop thinking about all the sh*t that happened to me today, all the sh*t I need to get done tomorrow, all the sh*t I need to get done in the next couple of weeks, all the sh*t I need to get done before I leave college, all the sh*t I'm going to need to get done in my life, if I'm ever going to find the right person for me, if she'll want me too, if I'll get a good job, how much longer my grandparents will live, how much I want to see my dog, how much I wish my roommate would be around more, etc. Wonder why I have trouble falling asleep?

I can sleep. Actually, I slept between 10 and 4. I just got up to get a few things accomplished before heading to work. About 2 years ago, I was much more of an insomniac. Being up at this hour isn't all that bad -- the family is asleep and it's pretty quiet.

Oh, before when I was more of an insomniac, I was drinking 6+ cups of coffee per day. This caused me to be a really light sleeper and to wake up quite a bit during the night. During these light sleep periods, I would just get up instead of tossin' and turnin'. But, about 10 months ago, I stopped drinking caffeine (I still like Decaf French Roast coffee, though). Since quitting caffeine, I've been able to sleep much better -- then again, my energy level has become more consistant. Also, around 10:00 P.M., I get really tired which allows me to lay down for some very good sleep.
