i don't mind being enveloped in a flame if it's dry out. if it's hot and sticky, that's an awful feeling.

The weather channel thingy on my az4x4 website was posting 119... seems to have dropped to a chilly 118.

Make sure to steer clear of Southeast Asia.

I was in DC once in the low 90s, and I would have blown my brains out if I had a gun handy. I like it dry...

It was plain nasty here in central VA today. By 10am, it was 90, with 75% humidity and weather.com reporting it "feels like" 104.

I only left the house to get the mail.

What was supposed to be a lighthearted thread about Arizona's blast furnace has turned to tragedy.

Today, a 22 month old baby girl died in town after being forgotten in a car for four hours... where it can get up to 140+ degrees. Invariably, 2 or 3 kids a summer die from this happening. I'm the original space cadet, but I cannot even imagine forgetting a child in the car. A news cast was mentioning how you should put something "valuable" in the backseat so you don't forget your baby.

Does anyone else see how distressingly pathetic that advice is? Good lord :(

Nice, throw something valuable in the backseat like a $20 bill, so you dont forget the baby is back there.
