Suck it up, pansies!

<----- lives in Alaska

actually I'm embarrassed to say it's a whopping 23 F here... this whole winter has been so warm it's insulting. On three occasions it was warmer here... in December... than in Los Angeles. In fact, the coldest it's been at ALL this winter was -19 F, and only for one day. A town 150 miles away reached -56 F though.

Fort Drum, Ny in the winter. -60F(non-wind chill temp) and go running for 6 miles. imagine what your body looks like afterwards. i had a Baclava(similar, but not the right one), pt jacket, long sleeve pt shirt with a little neck cover, pt pants, shorts underneath, my summer shoes, and regular socks on. (look up army pt uniform if you want to see.) and it royally sucked.

It was -6 this morning when I went outside and started my car and scraped the ice off of the windows. Fortunately, it's not all that windy here today, so wind chill was probably only -10 or so. I wore a jacket and gloves, not really too bad. If I found a halfway decent hat then I could be comfortable outside for hours.

It got frigid on Tuesday and was very windy. I also wore shorts since I did not have to work and all my Jeans were in the wash.
Shorts + -5 degrees f + 40mph wind gusts + snow higher than my ankles + shoveling = teh cold! :)

... <insert obligatory "where's that global warming when we need it" crack here>...

:)

It was -12 w/o wind chill yesterday when I left for work, at a balmy 15 this morning it felt like spring. I guess all of those tires I've been burning in the back yard to help move this global warming thing along are finally paying off...

Fort Drum, NY? Welcome to the frozen tundra of the United States. Although by the beginning of next week it might hit 50. Crazy winter.

It's -10 here, and I'm not considering any windchill factor with that reading.

Tell me about it. Looked at weather.com and it's -8 with wind chill here. Florida is in the 40's! Hahaha. Makes me feel good when they get to experience a little of that cold north wind we deal with all the time here in NY.

Not all that cold in LA, but it is suppose to rain cats and dogs from today through Sunday - we should see some lovely flooding in low areas and exciting landslides in the burn areas.

man i dunno how you guys can handle so much cold. It is 13F out right now and I froze my ass off walking to and from the car this morning

edit: apparently it's -6F with wind chill. that might explain some of it

-2 here in NJ. Got up early and went to the laundromat. No fun getting there, but great on the way back with the toasty warm bags of laundry.

Was supposed to hit 24F here but only got to 33F.

The high today is a balmy 53F (forecasted).

I just hope the citrus crops aren't destroyed. I don't want the price of my OJ to double!
