Hello there Guys, long time no talk. I have been beating my head with this decision for a long time. Just to let you know right from the back, I am a PC Guy only. I have never bought any Apple Product. Nothing against the Company, they are cool. I just never had any interest. But ever since the touch has been out, I always wanted to buy me one. But every time I get ready to buy, THE PC GODS always Punished me HARD and I don't get my itouch.

I am pretty sure that there are alot of you, who are just like me, PC Only, but you own the iTouch. I wanted to ask you guys your thoughts on my decision. Please help me out guys. iTouch is the only that I will ever by from Apple. Will I Angry the PC GODS?

So here is the question - Should I Buy the Apple iTouch Second Gen for myself?

P.S. Fusion (Thank you for your comments)

vegettoxp,

I am the same way you are, and i did buy a itouch 2G. Honestly, I love it, its very fast, easy to use, and cool to have. If you dont want to get up from bed, on to your laptop/desktop, the itouch is there for you.

I wake up every morning to my itouch, because i use it as a $200 alarm clock on a jbl dock...it gets loud lol. I also use it in the mornings to see whats going on in the world.

Id wait for Itouch 3G...because it has newer things, but i recommend it !

(whats with the PC gods.... ?)

My gf has an iTouch 1G, and to be honest its still the best MP3 player I've used (and like you, I dont usually see the merit in Apple products). I would never buy a new one though. The prices are ridiculous. Depending on your needs in the device though don't forget the Cowon S9. I'm disappointed in the fact it lacks wifi but I *love* it's screen and nice interface.

The third gen is rumored to be out in September and is said to include a microphone and videocamera. I've never owned an apple product before, but I was looking for a better control system for my htpc. After seeing a lot of friends with them, I kind of wanted one, then I found an app that did that, and that put me over the edge. I don't use it a whole lot as a mp3 player, but more as a PDA/wifi device. It works great internet/email between class. I've been very happy with it so far . But I wish I waited a few weeks, so I could get the updated one, or a cheap one as a lot of them will be sold from the free iPod with a Mac deal. If you're looking strictly for and mp3 player it may not be the best bet, but with the app store, it has a huge range of applications.
