How much are you paying for that 1600 right now a 7800GT is going for 270 I think which would blow that away

If you are going with ASUS, I can only recommend the ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, or better yet, Premium. Otherwise I say DFI Lanparty Ultra-D.

wow quick replies!

im paying $167 for the the sapphire card. i'm not big into gaming or OC'ing so this seems to be the card that everyone is recommending over the gto.

i chose that ASUS board because I don't plan messing with SLI. still better off with the deluxe?

For the money difference if you're not going to SLI, stay with the A8N-E. Great board! Have two and both are great and O/C great with an A64 3700+ and an X2 4400+!

mmm they make 3200 x2 now?? i don't think so.. if you're getting the 3200+ i would just go with a 3000+ for a better OC or if you're going to go dual core.. get a opteron if you can get your hands on one. The case btw is one of the best cooling solutions IMO. I had one with two side fans which dramatically brought my temperatures down.
