Italics driving me nuts.......

I don't know when it started doing this, I just noticed the other day, but for some reason almost all the text I view on the internet is in italics. All of the text in every message on this forum is in italics, when I do a search in Google, it returns everything in italics...etc... It's never done this before, so I don't know what's going on. Even the songs in my WinAmp playlist are in italics, it's never been that way before. Anyone else have any ideas? It's not hurting anything, but it's really annoying the hell out of me.

do you have windows plus! installed?
do you have some sort of scheme where default font is set to italicize?

Nope, no themes/schemes at all. It just started doing this a few days ago for no apparent reason. I'm using Windows 98 SE, BTW.
