Italian speakers, I need your help

While in Italy we sent a package through the Italian PO. Time was tight and we had no other choice, despite the obvious misgivings (veeery bad reputation). Well, I have some sort of tracking number, but have no clue how to use it. I'd like to know what happened to the package, because it never reached its destination. I hardly know any Italian so their site, if that's even the right one, was no help.

The 1st box asks to input the tracking code that was given to you...the 2nd asks day.month.year
