I need a new mobo for my Northwood based rig, i have possibility to get one of Abit socket 478 newest boards (IT7&BD7-II)

Both seem to have great features (especially the IT7 which full with them ), but i care more about the OC potencial - i just want to take the board which will give me better OC options and abillity- which one of the this two would fill this requitments?

P.S- i heard that the 3:4 ratio is missing in the IT7, is it true?

IT7 is recommended. Seems pretty much everyone who has this board has been happy with it. (I went with one myself.)

3:4 mem ratio is present.

The IT7 Max is $152 right now and the BD7II is $128 right now. I don't like the IT7 in that they give you one less slot for $24 bux more. I prob never use the raid feature with just 1 hd on the BD7II also., but i pick this one since its cheaper.

Someone said this about the IT7 on newegg ..

Cons:
- Must have USB keyboard (should be plugged into the onboard usb not the VIA usb 2.0 port if you want to use in DOS or bios mode)
- No serial or parallel (which is kinda good imho)
- Ram ratio is limited by chipset which is 3:4 (so, to overclock ram, you have to overclock fsb)
- vcore ratio is only up to 1.7v so extreme overclocker should get another motherboard
- only 4 pci slot, but should be ok with so many things built in

Personally, I find a mb with nothing on board.. on board lan and sound is usually lousy.
