Systme:
IT7
P42.4 Swiftec cooler
150mhz FSB
400mhz DDR 3:4 divider
Cosair XMS3200 512x2=1GB
VCORE 1.55
VDIMM 2.6
2-2-5-2 Enhanced RAM performance ON (if dimms are in 1 and slot 3)

With the dimms in DIMM 1 and 2 (next to each other) the computer will NOT boot. What is odd is that DIMMS 2+3 are shared so I was doubtful moving them would help. 1+2 work fine as long as enhanced RAM is off and slower timeing 2-3-3-6 are used.

Anyone else notice this?

I'm actually getting this board for my P4 2.53 rig. Is the IT7 the only board out right now regardless of chipset that can do DDR400 with a gig of ram? I want to OC at 19x166, and run the memory at 3:4, meaning DDR443 =X with a gig of ram. Is that asking for too much? I would hate to spend 350 bucks on my watercooling setup only to run my processor at 3 ghz, yet have my memory stuck at DDR333.

Again get good RAM. The XMS3200 is incredible. I have now built 3 systems and they all have run
400mhz RAM at 2-2-5-2 with 1GB installed 2.6 VOLTS (DDR400 is supposed to be 2.6 volts if JEDEC approves the rec standard)

I have not found ANY other MB that is this stable with 1GB. Again, put your ram in slots 1 and 3 (512 sticks of course)

I have gotten 440mhz (166FSB+3:4 ram) with 2-3-6-3 timings in slots 1 and 2. I have not tried this machine with the slot 1+3 trick. I assume it will be even better.

How do I define stable?

Prime95 24 hours
3DMARK 2001 24hours

Now crashes :)
