It would seem Netflix managed to get every episode of Saturday Night Live

on Instant View.
Now either I'm losing my fucking mind, or they deleted each and every musical guest from EVERY episode.
:hmm:

Yay RIAA and music licensing rights!

I haven't logged into Netflix in a few weeks but will definitely check this out.

You think that's bad, watch Northern Exposure on DVD. All the awesome original music was replaced with horrible elevator music.

Not sure if it's better to not have it at all or get a hack job like they've done with series like Happy Days, because they don't want to pay for music rights.

Netflix also has all the Star Trek series available on Instant Watch as well. That went live last Friday, IIRC.

But they KILLED it on Windows Media Center's Internet TV the moment the Netflix deal was announced MONTHS ago. Bastards. And the press was all like "OH! This is so great! What was once free is now coming to a service you have to pay for!" I was in the final season of TOS and to the second season of Enterprise when they did that. I waited months and the returned to Netflix for a month to finish them only to see that they STILL weren't added back in May/June.

Lol newb!

:awe:

She was supposed to sing. But at the last second she changed it to a speech based off the song "war" by Edwin Starr. Then showed the camera a picture of the Pope and ripped it apart. Audience sat with dumb fuck expressions on their faces and rumor is Lorne Micheals suffered a mild heart attack.

Thanks. She still sang. Other than the very end, I'm not sure what the problem was (it seems that their values are in alignment). What did she have against the Pope regarding war? Did he start some war?

Who cares? I only watched SNL for the comedy anyway (when it was actually funny). The only performance Netflix should fight to keep is Ashlee Simpson's for that reason.

I still say that before South Park is over, they need to do an episode where the RIAA sues everyone in the world and brings the entire world under corporation rule. You have to rent your house from RIAA, buy food at the RIAA store, etc.
