Yeah I'd rather see Angelina Jolie than Carrie Ann Moss. Hell, Jessica Alba would rule this part.

Neither of them has the maturity that Carrie-Anne has.

Much as I drool over Alba, she can't act. She couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
 
I agree with the other posters... Moss is a hottie in her own way.

Also, (and I expect much disagreement on this point), Angelina Jolie has a great body, but her face is... pretty, yet bitchy looking.

Carrie-Ann Moss has incredible eyes.

I don't think anyone would argue that Jolie has anything less than a fantastic body. Slim, yet she's still got some meat on the bones. Unf.

Bah. Tattoos don't make the skin coarse or anything. Think of it as a texture map applied to a very well-modeled wireframe mesh.

She's perfect for the part. Yes, of course there are better looking women out there, but they can't act. Now, The Matrix can get away with Keanu, but two actors who can't act? I don't think so. Anyways, she looks pretty good in The Matrix, not horrible. And Angelina Jolie would make a horrible Trinity. Can you imagine her being a computer hacker who is helping to save the world? I can't, she seems much too stupid.

Eeesh. This movie REQUIRED he looked dumbfounded the whole time. If you've been told your whole reality is an illusion, and you're going to lead the human race towards a victory over the machines, you'd have one of two reactions:

1. Total and utter shock and speechlessness.
2. Psychotic episodes and other fun stuff.

Neo, since he eventually had to go on to fight the machines, went the former route. Keanu pulled it off perfectly.
