It would be nice for someone to hire me.

I need a job for the winter and hopefully next semester. I need it to pay decently (>$12/hr). I also need one that will understand that I am taking courses along with working. I am currently majoring in economics and minoring in math. I was a successful physics major until this semester when I decided to change so I have a decent science background.

Does anyone know a way to research companies in my area (North East Ohio) that may be hiring? I would like something in the business/math/science field but right now I would take just about anything as long as it can pay for my apartment.

Any ideas?

:( I really need a job.

I got let go from my last one (they said I could come back next semester but I dont want to deal with all of that again) because of what happened with the two girls going and bad mouthing me to my supervisor (eventhough I was doing a better job than 80% of the people there).

Have you tried applying part time with a tax consulatant. With your background, I am sure you can handle filing taxes pretty easily. Those tax consulatants charge somewhere around $40 - $50 per hour, so I am sure you would not have a problem getting $12 per hour.

I am not sure if this would meet your requirements though.

I checked into that and the most they will pay me is 6/hr. I can only work 28 hrs a week so I need something that will pay at least 12 to afford the appartment.

Campus jobs don't pay much, but are flexible and convenient if you're in classes.

Look into your university's placement office. They should have an office that has jobs for students and graduates....you can usually get some interviews quickly through these places....especially around the holidays when everyone is looking for temporary holiday help.
