Yikes...
I might be sick but I actually got a chuckle out of that.
This is a truly bad guy. He went to jail for murdering a witness who was going to testify against him in a burglary case and while he was IN JAIL arranged for the murder of three other people. (Hello "anti-death penalty cause they can't hurt anyone in jail" crowd) Now it has taken so long to get to his final execution date he might actually die before he gets there. (No big loss on that one) But you have to love his appeal... "Ahnold... Please don't kill me, I'm too sick to die"
Attorneys for Clarence Ray Allen, 75, filed a clemency request to commute Allen's scheduled January 17, 2006, execution to life in prison without parole.
Allen is asking Schwarzenegger for sympathy because of his health problems. Confined to a wheelchair and nearly blind, in September Allen suffered a heart attack. He also has diabetes.
Last week Allen submitted an appeal to block his execution on grounds prison officials are not adequately treating his health problems.
