It was a cold and dark February, the wind howled and the snow fell. My 56K modem was moving slower then the water that drips from the 3 foot icicles that hang from the gutters. Then SBC launch their new Expert plus package and I was struck like the Van that hit Steven King. The modem screamed as the hard drive whined, the bits pulsed through the CPU, it was the sound of freedom. It was too late for the old ones but the children had been freed from there shackles. Run children run, never again will you suffer in the deep winter of bandwidth hell.
