Meh Nexus 6P, Get something like a Lumia 640 for $30 and then have $$$ left over for things like 14 months of service, or breaking your phone 14 times in a row, or lots of beer!

Got Note 5 for $50, S6 Edge for $50 and S6 for $1 from Best Buy back in Oct/Nov. Verizon wireless store almost always has the worst prices/deals compared to other retailers it seems.

Verizon is quoting me $576 for the S6? And I am their customer and its been forever since I upgraded and I qualify for some discount

That's retail price. Not 2 year contract upgrade price.

The days of contract upgrades and discounts are just about over. If you get some deal now, it will probably be your last. In the future, they will want monthly payments.

This is such bs. Everything in this world is getting worse. Back in 2011-2013 i bought my last phone outright for a hundred dollars, and it lasted me up through now. The only reason I have to upgrade is because Google/Facebook release bad code on purpose that only runs on the newer versions of Android. The hardware my phone is still fine, dual core 1.5ghz cpu and a gig of ram. that is plenty for Android, but because its an older handset they stopped updating it and now Facebook and Tinder crash. if I keep this phone ill die alone so forced to upgrade at this point.

Looking from a bargin point-of-view it seems like the G4 and the M9 have the best prices on there. Especially the poor poor M9- that is a 2015 phone going for less than the 2014 Note 4.
