I have a few bucks I want to invest, I have a couple of ideas I'm researching but I'm always on the lookout for good ideas.

So far I'm thinking of getting into rental properties and possibly trying to buy into a cell phone franchise (still researching though). If I could find a good product I would'nt mind trying to sell a few items over ebay.

I think rental properities in a expanding area could be a wise investment

I'm currently doing a 5 pronged investment strategy. The first is flipping a property. The second is 200 copies of Halo 2 preorder. The third is whenever TI drops down to 18 I buy it and immediately sell at 20.5. The 4th is the Canadian RFID companies Sirit and Samsys. The 5th is I'm on the Ferrarri 360 Spider waitlist.

A few of my buddies and I are also looking into buying a liqour store. By the way, it's a lot easier to do things and be creative when you have money. The flexibility and the amount of things you can do with a sizeable amount of cash is ridiculous.

I work in the RFID industry and with the amount of activity and hype I'm seeing I'm putting a lot of money into it. The investment in the RFID industry is huge. I also know who the major players are and happen to know that at the rate we're growing all of these companies are undervalued. I also know which million dollar contracts we lose and who we lose these to. I also happen to know that there's a new Class 1 Gen 2 spec that Walmart has requested and I know who has readers compatible with these specs and how far their technology is along.

Also keep in mind that the 2 companies I listed are Canadian. This means our dollar goes a lot further. The one thing you have to be careful with Canadian companies is their shares aren't completely public. A company can have 3% public and the rest private...which means if the stock goes up a lot a whole bunch of private shares might be dumped in and dillute the pool of stock which is public. I'm not quite sure exactly what the specifics are but regardless I think those 2 Canadian companies are undervalued.

You ROCK!

10,000.00 deposit and you can get it back at any point. You can basically drive it around for a few weeks then resell it for 30-50k profit. If for some reason prices have dropped by the time I'm first or 2nd on the list I back out and get my 10k deposit back.

I personally think so...it's always wise to do your due diligence before any investment though. I've just seen enough of the hype and the number of phone calls and sales that we get that I know these companies have huge growth potential.

stock tip: look at CFC, countrywide financials. extremely profitable, very low P/E, stock has been rising non stop over the past year or two.

Could be very risky, many game companies are badly managed and barely survive from one hit to the next. I haven't looked into Rockstar so they could be one of the exceptions (like id).

I was thinking about it but all my capital lately is invested in ebay merchandise.

If I can somehow increase my capital sufficiently in the next few months I'll probably do it.

That or actually buy the car and hold it until I can sell it. It usually takes 2-6 weeks to move them from what I've seen. I figured I'd just drive it around for awhile(hopefully not wreck it) and then sell it on ebay or in the paper. I also live by a Ferrarri service shop so I think I could work with them to find a buyer.

That's the other reason why I don't want to get on the 430 list yet is because I could probably come up with the funds to buy 1 and hold it but I don't think I could buy 2 such cars and hold them especially while I'm doing other things with my money.

anybody think amd is a good stock...
they have the performance crown over intel for probly 6 months at least, looks like a fair bit longer
they have been increasing internet advertising,
they recently have sold more than 50% of retail chips, not including system manufacturers
system makers (like hp and gateway) are increasing attention to amd, especially opterons

does this turn into higher profits and then higher stock price
