It takes alot of face muscles for me to smile

I'm generally a happy person, but recently I've been thinking my normal face makes me look grumpy to others.

When I try to do a full smile it takes some effort to keep me smiling big

Anybody else have this issue? I do have a big face and some big lips

I'm happy on the inside but I look mean on the outside. If you see me laughing/smiling; I'm probably laughing at you, not with you.

It only takes 2 muscles to smile and many more to frown.

Yeah my normal face is a grumpy face too. I've noticed it on pictures. Always looks like I'm upset or a bit angry in family pictures lol.

So much of our culture frowns upon good-naturedness. I remember going through a phase during my late teenage years where I thought I looked really dumb while smiling so I made a point to have a studious/serious look on my face all the time, and sadly I think that kinda worked its way into my pyche.
