LOL -- I loved that T-shirt, which was made when the Virginia Military Institute was first being sued by the Justice Department for "discriminating" against women in admissions. The best part was that the picture was a silhouette of a cadet officer in full parade uniform with a sword at salute.

Now, if you're familiar with military protocol, a sword in such a position is extended down from about the waist area...Think about it.

The post about "Elite Member" vs. "Platinum Member" made me think about it. :)

All I'll say is this: Ginsberg is a worthless b!tch.

Basically, that lawsuit proved that there is never a compelling reason for the exclusion of a class of people under federal discrimination law. If any case merited the finding of such a reason, it was VMI's, which had the support of a large portion of the academic community. The distinction of public and private in college funding is a crock, too, since private colleges receive a large chunk of public money in the form of tuition assistance, tax breaks, grants, among others. Anyway, guess I started. :)

My shirt just disappeared at some point -- probably lost in the wash. I should probably see if I can find out who made the design and if they still have it. I'd pay a fair amount to have one of those again.

They're nice. They usually have flowers and pretty patterns.
