It stopped freezing for some reason

Not sure about your freezing issues, I didn't have this problem with my XTX. The digit at the top is your fps. By default ATI Tray Tools enables the on screen display (OSD), jusy disable that to get rid of the fps display. You also can't OC with ATI Tray Tools, you either have to use the CCC or ATI Tool (different from ATI Tray Tools) if you want to OC.

Edit: what are the rest of your specs? mobo, cpu, PSU, and driver version.

I was fixing it 🙂

edit

Seems to be working now, I don't know what I did but it looks ok.

BTW how do I get the resolution to 1920x1200?

PMed you. Please see.
Also which 480 do you have and how old is it?
That might be the problem, even ram could be, or overheating.

seta r_customHeight "1050"
seta r_customWidth "1680"
seta r_aspectRatio "2"
seta r_mode "-1"

Obvioulsy, that's for 1680x1050, but the aspect ratio is the same for the 1680x1050 and 1920x1200... Worked fine for me on a Radeon X1900XTX. I enabled v-sync in the drivers as well as the game, and didn't have any issues with tearing.
