It starts and then it stops...help me please

I am running an abit ka7 with an Athlon 800. When I startup my machine it goes through the bios and then it powers down immediately. I have had this machine for about a year and half. Is there a possibility that it could be the power supply? Or is it something else?

Could you be more specific when you say, "it goes through the bios" ?
I'm assuming you mean that it POSTS, then does the memory check, perhaps the IDE auto-detect, and THEN it reboots? Perhaps you should try clearing your CMOS (there's usually jumpers on your mobo to do this).

Sorry about the ambiguity. Your right it does go through all the post operations and detects all the drives. Then it reboots. I will try to reset the CMOS.
