It seems that I installed Win2k onto the same partition as Win98

They're both using the same partition now, how can that be? I thought I installed it onto another partition(on another HD).

You can install them on the same partition, MS just doesn't recommend it. I had problems after a while so went with 2 partitions and that seems to wrok better in the long run if you do a lot of installing and uninstalling.

Eventually one OS will hose your system. Best to install on separate partitions.
