i doubt it.

most 3SGE nowadays (in IS200) has VVTI and produces only 155hp. its quite pathetic compare to what the non-vvti toyota engine can do. heck, the old old old 4age carburated 1.6L can hit 150 quite easily.

We talking just ATOT sites or in general, there is a lot of toyota/lexus sites in general.

I was looking into the SC400/SC300/MR2 before I chose a 1998 240SX SE....it came down to the SC vs the 240SX and the SC has about 1000lbs on me 🙂, now those extra 1000 pounds are spent in a good way if you want a totally luxury cruiser.

SC300 can take most Supra mods. The SC400 would be potentially better if it werent for the US spec coming automatic only.

Sorry, that isn't exactly a convincing argument. I was merely stating the K series is boost friendly as well. To ask how many turbo TSX's is a totally different discussion/argument. I agree that the IS300 is a better chassis then the TSX but that's hardly an issue of engines.

I'm not talking about the Chassis. The K Series may be boost friendly but how many tuners are making kits for it?
That's what I would like to know. I know there are several turbo kits for the RSX but there aren't that many.

The 3SGE is not only boost friendly, but it has so many different kits and whatnot for it. So doing upgrades on it isn't gonna be that difficult.
Plus the 3SGE is lighter than the 2JZ I have currently, which gives it better weight distribution.
It's still difficult to boost 2JZ in my IS right now because there are only some tuners with turbo's avail for it right now and the price is insane.
