So I had to drive from Philadelphia, PA down to my parents house in southern Maryland this past Friday. Normally this trip isn't complicated, because it's mostly a straight shot down I95. Little did I know I was in for a surprise consisting of massive amounts of rain and fog, making visibility near 0. I was doing ~45 on I95/97, that's how bad visibility was. I almost pulled over twice because of how difficult it was to see.

Now I thought once Friday was over, I'd be good to go. But noooooo, it still rained like hell on Saturday, going up to Aberdeen, MD where my previous apartment was. Coming back wasn't bad. Now, just returning to Philly today, it rained again. Seriously, wtf. I'm sick of this shit. 3 days of straight rain across 150+ miles of the east coast. Goddamn weather.

Cliffs for the ADD crowd:

1. fenixgoon had to drive home
2. it rained like hell
3. fenixgoon got to clean his motorcycle some
4. it still rained like hell.
5. fenixgoon is now back in philadelphia after driving through more rain. huzzah.
6. fuck the weather :|

That sucks. Here in the city it only rained late last night (around 1-2am) and a little bit today.

Hasn't rained here this year... or as long as I remember. I need the rain so I can wash my car.

It's rained here more this semester than the past two semesters COMBINED.

I had my window cracked open a few days ago and heard a WHOOSH as a torrent of rain started pounding everything. You could hear the screams of people as they rushed for cover from the torrential downpour. Twenty minutes later, it was over.

Yeah, it's rained up here in Boston three days in a row. I'm going for my long run in the rain now, can't hold it off.

OP didn't connect tropical bummer with lots-o-rain in weekend plans?

Monsoons winding down here but we got a bit of rain on Thursday. We are over 13 inches here for the monsoons. Best monsoons since at least 2000.

Wait. OP lives in Philly and is bitching about the weather? Put your big pants on and man up. I had to drive through the southwestern part of Michigan one winter and you don't see me bitching about that, do you? Lake effect snows + blizzard conditions = almost 4 hours to get thru that part of the state.
