That one POS application that everybody has trouble with, that is never fixed? Frikkin makes me want to go postal.

And those IDIOTS that have the same problem evry stinking day, even after you show them and draw them a picture?

I am so glad it's Friday, but that does not make the morons seem any smarter.....

vaguely so.

you know what i REALLY hate is those b!tches (and yes, it's almost always women) who call up and they're pmsing or something because they b!tch at you that some web app is down, then when you tell them that your department has no control over the server it's on, they get all pissy. B!TCH i'm smarter than you so stfu!

???perhaps you need a new line of work. lol...

I enjoy the "gubbles" at work, seems my sarcasm is enough to edge them into actually learning sometimes.

They actually call me "Nick Burns the company computer guy".

I feel your pain...

ever since our network printer broke I have to go set up every frickin' PC to print every M$ Word document, because the replacement we've got doesn't print all the text...

Thank God it's Friday

It seems that if you're in some sort of authority position, and something goes wrong, you're the one to blame. Do I have control over DNS issues or the fact that the Comcast software almost always hoses people's boxes? No. But I catch flak for it. If you're in IT and you don't like working with people who can't get their crap together, try transfering to another part of the IT department. There has *got* to be part that doesn't interact with anyone but other IT people, right?

kinda like my family...

everything involving electronics, or involving the pushing of a button of some kind, must be left up to me. they can't even handle vcr recording. but oh well, i just do it.

My favorite are the guys who try to pass off that they know alot aobut PCs.

"Yeah, my CPU is so full of information its gonna go. Just like the time my RAM started clicking and i knew it was time for a new main memory board. I'll tell ya, hard drives running at 1.4GHZ are just too darned fast."

Sounds kinda like my parents...except that my dad is smart enough to program the VCR, and do basic internet browsing. But my mom knows next to nothing about the computer, and despite learning for quite some time, she still seems to be constantly asking me questions about how to do this and that while browsing around. It does get kind of annoying after a while :|
