Referring to my original thread, they originally said it would take over a day to fix the problem.

They just called me up and said they fixed it! And I didn't get in trouble with the boss, WooT!

Sometimes you have to love IT guys, but then again, they gave me a hassle and run around. I had to make several phone calls and then they even played dumb claiming that they didn't know the name of the folder!

so in the end they got the job done.

So I both hate and love IT!
 
because for lazy people like me who don't want to wade through massive big threads to find one small update 😉

yup. giving delete rights to network users is obviously a huge security concern and they need to cover up quickly.
