It looks like Intel really hates Tom.

He's only one, among the major sites, doesn't have review on the new P3-M.

Intel aint the only ones who don't like him. I would rather read Anand's review than Tom "Oversized EGO" Pabst's review. Tom use to have a good website about 5yrs ago. Now I generally just avoid it.

I doubt it, to be honest.

Maybe his review isn't finished yet or something.

Would be a bit odd that Intel would bother hating Tom. They gave him a Tualatin (one way or another), a P4 & the works - regardless of his involvement in the original 1.133 GHz P3 proc.

Or just fluke (it happens) - parcel lost/delayed in mail or something.

Why do you think this is a real indication of Intel not liking him any more?

Anyway,( i could be completely wrong about this) but wasn't all the ANTI-intel Tom's hardware stuff pushed by V. Smith? And when he went to inquest, TH started to at least give Intel some credit.

You are correct, Kpoc. And no, that certainly doesn't mean that Intel hates Tom. Trust me, if for some reason Intel denied giving Tom an early Tualatin, Mr. Pabst would be the first one screaming that "Intel hates Tom." :)

Hahah that's exactly what I was thinking.

Tom does seem to have a fairly high opinion of himself, but I don't think he's ever really been that biased against Intel.

After all he's one of the few people that didn't just dismiss the P4 as a POS after the initial review, and dug around to try and determine what it was good at and what it wasn't so hot with, and why.

I agree that it would be a bit odd for Intel to hate Tom, as he is one of the few reviewers who didn't just jump on the AMD bandwagon (don't take offense to that, it's a great chip and it kicks the sh** out of everything in price/performance, but Intel still makes very high quality, stable CPUs) and took the time to actually test the P4 in benchmarks with high memory bandwidth usage to show that it does outperform Athlon in certain situations.
The man has a high opinion of himself, but I've found that his reviews are usually some of the most all-inclusive; he runs so many benchmarks that they all blur into each other. If they ARE angry with him, it's probably for showing that an O.C.ed P3 Tualatin 1.13 can hang with a P4 1.4 :)
