New study finds strong links between prejudice and support for political violence in the United States
A comprehensive survey of U.S. adults finds that strong agreement with racist, sexist, or xenophobic views is closely tied to support for political violence, according to a new peer-reviewed study published in The Lancet Regional Health – Americas.

Acceptance of political violence is most prevalent among bigots and normal people have known for ages that bights are blind and beyond rely reflection or reasoning.
Naturally the study is meaningless to bigots, even though the data used in the study was self reported by them.
Bigots exist in order to flatter themselves they are superior to somebody else and that need to feel superior can only come to those who actually are feeling inferior.
This is much like bullies whose radar will target modest and happily innocent people to hate and put down because the bigot knows they do not suffer his or her own sickness. This is seen in the expression, misery loves company.
