We are also under a snow-squall watch right now. I doubt we'll see anything serious.

at least I will be able to try out my new winter jacket now.

Same here, finally! It's almost December and we had no snow it's like WTF? Global warming man. Only got a few cm, something we would normally have before Halloween years ago but at least it's something. Our winters are really short now though. It's actually kinda scary to see how much the climate has changed in just over a decade.

It's nice to see all the Christmas lights and decorations with the snow now. Was starting to feel like Christmas in July without the snow :p. It finally feels more like Christmas time now.

Environment Canada just upgraded us to a snow-squall warning. :(

we might get 15 to 20 cm of snow.

I doubt it. We will probably get diddly.

Already 6 feet of snow on the ground at Mt. Baker... of course that's the snowiest place in the world.

It's canada... you always have snow. ;)

But yea we have had a few dustings here and it's gone in a few days but got some more yesterday even though it was hardly a inch but just cold now and weather report makes it sound like it will finally be sticking around.

Hell the day before was very warm, high 40's - low 50's, so we will see.

High of 84F and sunny here today. Going to cool off into the 70s by next week.

Wind and gritty snow here, though only a few inches of accumulation is expected.

The nice thing about snow is once the roads get packed they are much smoother. Looking forward to driving not being so hard on the suspension system (or what's left of it lol).

No snow at the house here, but there is enough for a road ride in the smowmobile this morning to make sure the turbo is working properly, then I will be ready when the pow really hits.

Yes, I moved to a cold region about 13 years ago and I remember how we would get snow by the foot in November. Now we don't get any real snow to the end of December or January every year.

Drove into Front Range hills yesterday.
Creeks are starting to ice up along the banks where the sun does not hit. 2-3 feet of ice width. Could not tell thickness.
Couple of die hards out in the water with fishing gear and also saw a gold seine in one creek.

Peaks along the divide have snow.

Decent snow on the mountain today, and was snowing hard most of the day too. I cant wait for some real snow to hit, could have used several feet more today.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel, Iron Woodie, maybe its time to tell you all about my MMGW theory about the conservation of snow. And its corollary principle, that simply implies, the more snow you get, the less snow I get as a result. Living too close to a great lake is a big mistake.

Looks like we got about 4-6" yesterday. It was deeper in the woods where it isn't as affected by wind, but not as deep in the field. It makes for dragging deer out of the woods a lot easier - now, if only I could find one. :(

Such a thing as a spotlight and/or corn.
works every time, especially around the game wardens :p

why go through the effort of dragging. let them transport themselves to you. :hmm:
