Max, that's because it's UP to 20% off. Not everything is 20%.

Let us know deals if you find them!

Grr, the Canon S110 is out of stock ... maybe that's a blessing in disguise since I don't really NEED another digicam.

joemamma - Dell coupons are not click-through like Buy.com or CDNow.com they are coupon codes you enter like Staples.com. The coupon code is listed on various hot deals websites such as here.

The coupon code button is REALLY SMALL located in the middle right near the subtotal.

ok, I was getting really confused... going around in circles trying to figure the multiple promotions they are having for peripherals. I think this is the break down:

-Home and home office: (ends dec. 17)
UP TO 20% off software and peripherals

-Small business: (ends dec 13... i think)
15% off all software and peripherals
25% on all "dell branded" accessories (except monitors are 15% i believe)

I hope that helps for people who are "confused" like me... Post a hot deal if you see one!!!... because we don't know we need it till you post it! =p

the person who asked about tax in CA:

home charges tax in CA
business no tax in CA

so factor in 7% to your calculations

I've done a couple deals through the last few months with these Dell deals, but now the deals are few and far between. I'm having a hard time what products are actually the 20% they are talking about. Everything decent is 10%. Oh well, I'm sure there's a deal in there somewhere if you look hard enough.

Rally1 - I think you have that backwards, no tax when going through the Home store...don't know about the business store.

I'm in CA and I'm getting charged tax on my total in Small Business. Am I missing something?

*sigh* 5% off monitors just doesn't cut it for me... oh well.

Btw, Crank is correct: the consumer (home) store does not charge tax in CA. Tslugmo (nice name), the small business store does charge tax in CA.

Here is a list of the discounts:

5% off:
-PDAs/Handhelds
-Monitors

10% off:
-Printers/Scaners
-Power Products
-Cameras
-Networking (including NICs and modems)
-Data Storage
-Software

'up to' 20%:
-Accessories
-Memory

For the LCD I was hoping to purchase, free shipping + no tax + $25 coupon + 5% -> ~20% discount out the door. Not bad, but I'm shooting for 30+%, which is my personal definition of hot.

Hum I was going to get the a Kingston 256MB CF card for $90 AR. Is this any good?

149.95 + 0.05 cent screw - 10% off memory - $25 off 150 = $110.01 - $20 MIR = 90.01 AR shipped

Might hold off for awhile until i hear of any other good deals.

Anyone got any?

Petekim,

Thanks for the help. I'm getting 15% off on Sony Clie N760c PDA's in the small business section, but 5% discount in the home office section. Weird. Coupon only working for me in the home office section. Buy the same PDA for $402 from the home office section or $411 from the small business section. If we could get no tax, $25 off coupon, free shipping and 20% discount at once, this could become more attractive.

I didn't buy it but here's a nice deal:

60GB IDE 7.2K RPM for Dell Dimension 4300/8100/8200 (strangely, there's two of these listed that are identical listings).

$139.00
-$34.75 %25 Dell brand
+$8.00 ground shipping
-$8.00 free gound shipping
$4.69 Tax

Total Price = $108.94

Not sure what brand exactly the drive is, but that sure is nice for 60gigs 7200rpm...the 40gig drive doesn't come out to very much less. I would've grabbed it, but I need a Seagate Barracuda IV due to noise considerations. If anyone can confirm this as a Seagate IV, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but I'm assuming that most drives from Dell are maxtor and IBM...
