This morning is the morning of my 30K run. In just a few minutes, I'll be leaving for the . . . I think its a golf course? where the race is being held.

The results will be up on this website a couple of hours after the race completes.

Wish me luck. 🙂

oh man good luck. i couldn' t do that walking it is just too damn far, too hard on my feet, and takes too long lol
props to u

I completed my first century back in September (rode 100 miles on my bicycle in 6 hours) but there's no way I'd ever compete in a running event. Too hard on my joints.

Good luck though.

Well, I'm back . . . gonna be feeling this for a few days. I can't move. The first half the course was uphill, a shallow upward grade. There was also a heavy head wind, 25mph according to the race MC and his laptop/WiFi. I ran steadily for the first half, skipping all the water stations. After the turn around at about 9.3mi, I began stopping and walking, being sure to hit every station for some Gatorade.

My gun time was around 2:53:00, chip times haven't been uploaded yet.

Edit - Forgot to mention, the shirt was nice. Festive red with Christmassy borders. 🙂

I've got quite a nice collection of shirts now. 🙂

Results are up! Finally . . . .

Total Results

I'm number 39 over all, with a 2:52:47 chip time, with a 9:17 per mile pace.

It'd be a bit better, but after the midpoint, I started walking quite a bit. 🙁

Ah, its been a long time since I felt a run the day after. 🙂

So sore . . .

Looking forward to 7 Jan 2007, Christiansen Trail Run. 🙂
