Just a few fluffy white flakes that melt when they hit the ground, but I like the first sugar snows like these. :)

Tsk....and I was planning on going to the beach. Oh wait, there's no snow here. :) (I'll take every opportunity to brag about Florida because there's really not much to brag about.)

Why do you curse the south. DO you really want snow. What would 10 foot of snowfall do for ya. Would that please ya??

Yup. there's nothing better than the fresh crisp air that zero degree temperatures bring. the absolute silence and beauty of fresh snowfall. Waking up to a few feet of fresh snow is a great way to start a day.

Ditto here. Got cloudier and cloudier, suddenly I heard a weird sound as a wall of white pelted the house. The patio furniture was covered in white in about 60 seconds. 3 minutes later, it stopped. 5 minutes later the clouds passed on. And now, there's almost no trace of it, except in the shadows.

This...x1000

You can beat the calm before the storm....the storm being the roar of snowblowers.

Nothing beats being able to buy a sport car and being able to drive it all year, playing gold in the middle of winter and not having to deal with crappy roads. I lived in the north, had the 2+ feet snowfalls and never want to deal with it again.

Been having to warm up the car for about a week now. Plenty of frost, don't think I've seen any snow flying.

I'm going to buy a bunch of wool socks for this winter. I <3 warm feet!

I love it. I love driving an AWD car through the two feet of fresh snow. My 91 mile round trip commute is much more interesting with snow covered roads.

It is snowing because a guy from ATOT talked to a girl (you)

And now hell has frozen over and that snow is just the first sign of the apocalypse.

I agree. We lived in snow country for 35 years.
IF I want to see snow, it's only a 1-1/2 to 2 hour drive up the hill...We've made that drive ONCE in almost 24 years. (other than seeing some "old snow" on the ground in Yosemite's higher reaches...during May/June)

Even though I don't really like the 100+ temps we usually have for most of the summer, I DO NOT miss living with snow all winter. A couple of Wyoming winters cured me of that...although it's a PITA to have to mow the damned lawn all winter. :p

Not here

Beautiful day in the city. There's plenty of time for snow and cold days, keep the nice weather coming!
