On the 11th Day of the 11th Month at 11:00 AM we observe 2 minutes of silence.

I am watching our local ceremony live.

The weather here is a reminder of the horrid conditions our soldiers fought in during WW I and II.

Most of our WW II vets have left us and the few that remain we must cherish their stories.

It is tradition in Commonwealth countries to wear a poppy as a symbol of remembrance of their sacrifices for our freedoms.

Lest We Forget.
