It's strange that you continue to make this claim when I already showed you that the military rank and file is in fact left leaning - why would they join the right? Did you just not internalize that data because it went against your doom narrative?
This is based on what? Surveys, polls? Where there could be possible risk of retaliation if they answer a certain way?

Does it matter what the rank and file or what the officers say or do? If they lose control of their units, it's over. If even 20% of the military broke off, it would be disastrous and bring about untold misery.

And right or wrong, I don't think Biden has it in him to do what you had suggested. He would hand over the Presidency, even if there were obvious shenanigans. It would arguably save a ton of lives. Sometimes you just have to know when you've lost, and we're not the first great empire to fall into darkness. This was all set in motion in the 90s, the GOP long game that is. Don't act surprised that it's now finally playing out.

You sure about that? Lets ignore the socialist rifles and the left wing militias for a moment.

The democratic party is many of many different factions, with different backgrounds, cultures, and histories.

One of those factions is:
7 million people strong
Live in a warrior society
Are referred to as the best light infantry on earth
Want their land back

Do not assume a civil war will be one sided. Nothing is further from the truth.
What group are you referring to?

And I’m telling you in situations like this what the law says doesn’t matter and people who think it does will find themselves disabused of that notion very quickly because it won’t go down the way you think. It’s never a case where one side says ‘I’m doing a coup lol’, everyone always claims they are acting to protect the constitution and the country.

Republicans will claim they won because they got the most electoral votes. Biden will claim shifting the electoral votes after the election is unconstitutional. Then you have competing claims, who is right? If SCOTUS rules one way it’s likely people will consider it illegitimate given the way the courts have been politicized.

As far as what the military will think, have you ever served? I have. The people in the military are just like anyone else - they will be confused and uncertain which claim is right and that’s why what really matters is martial and political power.

The law will not save you because when the shit hits the fan the law goes out the window. Trump almost pulled an unconstitutional coup in 2021, do you really think had he succeeded the military would have deposed him to defend the rule of law? Absolutely not. They would have gone where the political power was.
You're defeating your own argument. You're saying that the next coup will be legal, constitutional, and confirmed by the SCOTUS. Biden hands over power. The military and law enforcement then culls any potential uprising. Game over.

You should go back and read my argument more carefully then.

Yes yes, we all know, republicans will conquer America for 10,000 years, they will extend their dominion over the world and to mars, and then will conquer the underworld to rule us even in death.

In your original analysis you also left out the fact that 40-50% of the population wants this type of authoritarianism, and how that would also factor into quelling any possible conflict. I believe that's what you call a checkmate.

Man that sounds bad - your original estimates were probably low. Going to be more like 20,000 generations. Then they will invent a time machine to undo Biden’s win so you won’t have been hilariously wrong with your last prediction, making this one more credible.

For someone who professes not to be a republican, you sure seem to love repeating their nonsense.

According to Gallup, as of 2021 27% of Americans identify as R. Trump support from Indies dropped over 20% in the election of 2020.

No one here thinks you understand chess. All we see is more doom forecasting from someone already experiencing a credibility deficit on this forum. If you're interested in changing that you could try substantiating what you previously claimed as a fact. Just a thought.

He is the Peter Schiff of political prognosticators. He predicts the same thing all the time and ignores it when he’s wrong. At least I think Peter Schiff is running some gold grift.

LOL the libs don't own guns and are chicken shit.

Did they do anything when Gore was made to lose?
Did they do anything when McConnel stole a Scotus seat?
Are they doing anything over Roe v Wade?

You give the democratic system way too much credit. If anything on Jan 6th we got LUCKY someone called the Maryland governor to send the National Guard and he said you're not supposed to call us.. it supposed to be someone higher up but whatever.. we'll take your call and send them in.

But that was nothing more than a band aid! The wound is still there and the democratic system is still bleeding.

It might just be mortally wounded.. as we'll find out in 2022 and then in 2024!
We still got Rachael Maddow, remember...
She'll kick some ass, as long as that ass kicking is only required on a Monday night, that is.

But seriously, I say just let them all win, let them take over everything, an all out takeover by the insane Trump loyalist. Lets go 100% Giuliani. 100% Sidney Powell. 100% Steve Bannon. Lets go 100% Rick Scott and 100% Doug Mastriano.
Why? Because,I want to see exactly what this Trump envision for America would actually look like for Americans when fully implemented. I really do want America to experience this. Then, we can finally get it out of our system and return back to the real America. But in order to return to the real America, it looks like we have no choice but to first experience that Trump envisioned America of total insanity.

I want to see the reaction from America when racism is fully implemented. When women are arrested and imprisoned for birth control. I want to see impoverished senior citizens taxed, and the homeless taxed for living in tents. I want to see gays forced into cure-the-gay programs, and transgenders forced into mental institutions. I want to see election outcomes determined solely by Donald Trump, and the democrat challengers imprisoned. I want to see it all because this is something America must go thru, apparently, if America is too rid itself of this Donald Trump cult mentality.

Pardon me, I thought it was obvious.

I was referring to the Native Americans. The republican's treat them like shit and they have a lot to gain in the chaos.
Yet, nearly every card carrying Native American I know (many being I grew up in Eastern Oklahoma) is a diehard republican.

You wanna see how far that goes?

Mass lynchings. Concentration camps. Pogroms. Ethnic Cleansing. Don't think for one moment it won't happen.

Its their wet dream! And when the #1 goal becomes to own the libs.. what could own them more than that?? That there is no coming back from the dead.

So far we've gotten previews in Charleston Church, El Paso Walmart California Train Control Center, Indianapolis Fed Ex, Atlanta Koreatown and now the Buffalo supermarket. The shooters just left everyone white alive but killed the rest.

And what have we done about it honestly? Given the perpetrators a burger?

I'm hoping for a national divorce but I think it'll be much worse.

That is interesting.

Biden was able to pull 80% of the native American vote in some places.

I think they'll definitely pick up a senate seat in PA at least. If they net one more then Manchin and Sinema won't matter any more ...

We are talking about a Civil War here.

The breakup of the state is a pre-requisite.
And I was talking about the end result.
Unlike the 1860s, industrialization has left us entirely crippled if it comes to civil war. There won't be a winner.

Just disrupt the supply chain and it'll be every man for himself.

Why dosen't anyone mention Voter Suppression?

On Election Day, armed men and women could simply show up in fatigues, point their guns at whom they believe will vote for Democrats and order them to leave and go home.

Polling sites could be moved miles away from where voters live. Or they could simply not open.

Cops could start checking for state I.D.'s with photos. It does not matter if this makes the news, is illegal or people resist and get clobbered with batons. It is only one day, then the election is over and the GOP tells people to move on.

And no one can count on all Latinos, Blacks and even Asians voting for the Democrats. They have been defecting in greater numbers to the GOP.

What is the answer? Better messaging, something Democrats don't do very well on.

Demonizing and fear mongering always works for Republicans. Positivity is ridiculed. Truth is laughed at or labeled a vicious and underhanded threat.

DeSantis and Abbott thrive on this.

Just a few more elections and the GOP has it in the bag. A couple of midterms and 2 presidential elections and they own the government. Look at how much they are getting done (to control power) even with a lack a majority. Since voters are generally lazy dumfucks, we will see Tepublicans take the senate in the midterms, lose the persidential in 2024, get a decent majority in Congress in 2026 and then President in 2028 after additional supression laws and gerrymandering backed by the SCOTUS. They will do this by quietly chipping away at fair voting and applying massive amounts of disinformation.

Since our only recourse is to vote the fucks out, we are well and truly screwed (voter turnout is abysmal). Revolution 2040. I predict that is when people will be in so much pain, they will finally get out and do somwthibg about it. Voting won't work. This will be riot-type shit. If 70% of our population voted, I would totally not think this was inevitable. People simply don't vote. Like frogs in a pot, they won't know it is too late.

Yeah, the Native Americans in Oklahoma, at least from the large tribes, are pretty well integrated into normal life so I think their identity is more tied to being an Okie than it is to the Tribe. However, I'm sure I have a sampling bias, because those are the people I personally know or am related to.
