PA governor race will almost assuredly go to Shapiro ... Mastriano has almost no chance.

If China fails to contain Covid and it continues to be as strict in their containment practices, the Global Economy will continue to be turbulent for that reason alone. Then there are the Russia centered issues. It could take years for things to normalize. We in NA will fare relatively well. Elsewhere the turbulence is going to have more serious consequences, especially in Africa.

The perfect storm for Trump/Clones.
Yeah, it's a very bad time to be an incumbent and viewed as in charge and holding power over current events. Which are melting down around us.

And once Trump/Clones are in power they will make it extremely hard to remove them (and future clones) in future elections. Not to mention because they will suck at the ACTUALY duties of their positions, they will exasperate the Global Economy issues you outlined and there will be a continued spiral for decades and decades.

I hate these people so much. I never really have used that word in my life (except when describing Chicago Cub fans) but I can honestly say, I hate these people with all my heart and soul (that I have left)

A lot of state governors and secretaries of state are on the ballot THIS NOVEMBER.

So if the big lie supporters are voted in, they can easily put in a system to put in their preferred results for the electoral college in 2024.

Probably too complicated for most to understand who just have resentment for the current economy and want to vote the dems out.
But can they do this in the dark? Cause if they CANT … I have to imagine that there will be people with guns in the streets ready to tear shit down.

I mean if someone openly subverts the democratic system … its open season on their heads right? Like any operating dictator outthere.

Why would they have to do it in the dark? If they've shown us anything in the past 5+ years, they don't care who sees what they do, as long as they get away with doing it. They aren't "subverting" anything if they "legally" change the rules/definition of what the democratic system is. They've repeatedly found and exploited every loophole and backdoor already established within the current system. So much of the election process is just based on tradition and assuming that nobody would actually take advantage of these things to cheat to win, but here we are... they tried in 2020 and they will do it again in 2022/24 and now have more people in place to succeed.

THESE PEOPLE KNOW NO LIMITS AND DO NOT GIVE TWO FUCKS as long as they retain power.

Well, they can switch out votes and call it “legal” all they want but….

I'm not so sure about that. They would be hard pressed to end democracy before the election so I imagine if anything they would assert their ability to overturn election results they don't like. The thing is they could already have done that in 2020 and if they try it in 2024 despite it being 'legal' I think it would be similarly viewed as a coup.

If Biden wins re-election by the usual standard and states try this to overturn his victory I think there's a decent chance he refuses to recognize the result and we have some sort of civil conflict. I know that's what I would support.

LOL the libs don't own guns and are chicken shit.

Did they do anything when Gore was made to lose?
Did they do anything when McConnel stole a Scotus seat?
Are they doing anything over Roe v Wade?

You give the democratic system way too much credit. If anything on Jan 6th we got LUCKY someone called the Maryland governor to send the National Guard and he said you're not supposed to call us.. it supposed to be someone higher up but whatever.. we'll take your call and send them in.

But that was nothing more than a band aid! The wound is still there and the democratic system is still bleeding.

It might just be mortally wounded.. as we'll find out in 2022 and then in 2024!

Biden controls federal law enforcement and the military, and the rank and file of the military, contrary to popular opinion, leans left.

So ...soccer moms, college kids, Starbucks baristas, and academics (I don't use these terms disparagingly, I fall in this group) vs most active/former military, most active/former LEOs, and various other paramilitary groups and militias literally trained from a young age to hate us. This type of thinking is going to get a lot of us hurt and killed. Fact is that we are already a conquered people and it happened without a single shot being fired.

This is like saying the Russian people are going to rise up and overthrow their authoritarian government. Nope.

It's strange that you continue to make this claim when I already showed you that the military rank and file is in fact left leaning - why would they join the right? Did you just not internalize that data because it went against your doom narrative?

Also the main reason why Russians won't rise up and overthrow their authoritarian government is that authoritarian government controls the army.

So basically you're actually saying that Biden will win, lol. Oops!

It is not that simple.

They will uphold the constitution. The constitution says the states send electors. Says nothing about voting. The states choose their electors however they want. They will accept whatever elector is certified by the state, elected or not. The states get to choose how to run their elections.

It is 100% constitutional for a state to corrupt their own election, reject their election results, or to simply not have an election for president.

That is not true.

The main reason Russian's will not rise up is the majority of Russia approve of their government:

You are correct that it's 100% constitutional for a state to decline to have an election at all and just award their electors to whoever they want. It's also 100% unconstitutional for the president to run a for profit hotel down the street from the white house where he routinely accepted gifts from foreign governments. Did anyone give a shit? No.

It is also true that if they try to award their electors to someone who lost the election in their state it will be (correctly) viewed as a coup. People think the law will save us or doom us in a time of crisis because people will do whatever the law says - history shows that is not true. It will come down to power, both political and military.

A legal coup. A constitutional coup. A lawful coup.

The military will do nothing to oppose it. If the lawful authority orders them to, they will suppress any rebellion against the lawfully obtained government. This is what they swore an oath to do, and they take it very seriously.

People think the law will save us or doom us in a time of crisis because people will do whatever the law says - history shows that is not true. It will come down to power, both political and military.
More so then any of us, the military knows what civil* war actually looks like. Without law, all that will remain is civil war. They will pick the least bad option, and uphold the lawful government.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Have you actually thought what civil war looks like? Really thought about it? I will fill you in what civil war is going to look like:

1. Combatants always live, civilians always die.
2. Militia's rarely fight other combatants, they spend most of their time executing civilians that do not support their side enough and stealing their stuff.
3. As the war grinds on, kidnapping, enslavement, and trafficking becomes commonplace to generate more wealth for the war effort
4. Militia's on either side are always amnestied for their actions at the end of the war, IRA, South Africa, Syria, American civil war 1.0, it is always true. There are no laws, no morals, no right in a civil war. Winning by any means necessary is the only law.

All sides will do this without hesitation. democrat, republican, everyone. Exterminate the civilians, the women, the children, and take their stuff. It always turns into this within 2 months. Desperation justifies all.

The military knows this, and they will crush any civil war by any faction without hesitation or mercy.

Still, that was before Trump and when SC had authority… When the global news outlets is running the story “The Experiment is over”… Well if nothing happens then its over.

You sure about that? Lets ignore the socialist rifles and the left wing militias for a moment.

The democratic party is many of many different factions, with different backgrounds, cultures, and histories.

One of those factions is:
7 million people strong
Live in a warrior society
Are referred to as the best light infantry on earth
Want their land back

Do not assume a civil war will be one sided. Nothing is further from the truth.

The main reason Russian's will not rise up is the majority of Russia approve of their government:

I think there are a lot of complexities in that. I doubt Russians are anywhere close to 'rising up', but I wouldn't take such expressions of approval at face value, either. What people allow themselves to _think_, yet alone to publicly _say_, is itself affected by questions of power. Plus Putin doesn't only control the state's "bodies of armed men" but he also controls most of the media.

Also Putin gets a lot of credit among older Russians because when he took over the country was in a state of near-collapse, with an economy in meltdown, oligarchs out-of-control and the population drinking itself to death. I think they see him as having restored Russian national self-respect or something.

Opinions can change quite rapidly. The worse things go militarily the more that approval will erode, I suspect.

And I’m telling you in situations like this what the law says doesn’t matter and people who think it does will find themselves disabused of that notion very quickly because it won’t go down the way you think. It’s never a case where one side says ‘I’m doing a coup lol’, everyone always claims they are acting to protect the constitution and the country.

Republicans will claim they won because they got the most electoral votes. Biden will claim shifting the electoral votes after the election is unconstitutional. Then you have competing claims, who is right? If SCOTUS rules one way it’s likely people will consider it illegitimate given the way the courts have been politicized.

As far as what the military will think, have you ever served? I have. The people in the military are just like anyone else - they will be confused and uncertain which claim is right and that’s why what really matters is martial and political power.

The law will not save you because when the shit hits the fan the law goes out the window. Trump almost pulled an unconstitutional coup in 2021, do you really think had he succeeded the military would have deposed him to defend the rule of law? Absolutely not. They would have gone where the political power was.

And don't forget, each individual governor has a national guard, and there are thousands of individual law enforcement agencies across the country. All of these professional forces are well-armed and typically better-trained than the average citizen. CA's governor will likely retain control of CA Guard, but individual police forces across CA, especially in rural/eastern areas? Same concept with GA, governor will retain national guard, but some of the police forces in the cities will be controlled by mayors.

Any remotely left-of-center American who is still screaming hysterically about gun ownership and doesn't see the trajectory this country is on is mind baffling to me. I'm not worried about holding my own against a platoon of US soldiers - I'm concerned about a paramilitary group that isn't that well trained that might roll into my community looking to rape and murder libtards and "others".

Never mind the fact that 400+ million guns cannot be confiscated from hundreds of millions of Americans in any way. Believing so is delusional, at best.

There is a very fine line that has to be toed in order to avoid a balkanization of this country and right now the body politic is walking it like it's on a 3 day bender.
