Hi all,

Just wanted to say thanks to the AT community for the help I received on my first build!! It really feels good to build your own, that's for sure!! While my system is not the greatest, fastest gaming machine out there it at least gets me up to date with most of the latest hardware and the best part is I built it myself.

Rig: ASUS A8N5X, Opty 144, Geforce 6800GS, Fortron Source 400watt PS, 1 gig of Corsair ram, a DVD burner I migrated over from my previous system, 80 gig WD hard-drive, and a Thermaltake case I bought off of E-Bay for $35. Currently using onboard sound, but I have a Soundblaster 512 soundcard for backup if needed.

The build went pretty well, worst part was getting the motherboard to correctly fit into the IO backplate!! LOL It's amazing how a person can sweat in a 65 degree basement in the middle of winter when the pressure is on!!! hehehhahah. I'd post some pics but my wiring leaves alot to be desired!!! I'll get that sorted eventually.

anyway, thanks again for the help!!!! 🙂
