Aaaah, 80F + sun + no wind.

Another great day to go mountainbiking.
Just cleaned and lubed the bike, now time for some lunch and then I am hitting the trail. Around 12 - 15 miles should do it.
Then some time by the pool with a few cold ones.

Life is great!
:D

Update on last post.

That sounds like fun. I don't have a mountain bike... maybe I'll go for a walk by the river.

The other guy is Yield.

Not quite as nice here, but still nice. Going on a train ride & dinner (Spirit of Washington train ride) later tonight to celebrate Kate & my 8-year anniversary. :)

Tomorrow I'll be back on the bike, though. Need to start biking further (ride about 7mi a day right now, from & to work; want to increase that to about 30 a day).

I wish it was nice here. It's been off and on like crazy lately. One day it's absolutely gorgeous, 75 degrees, sunny, light breeze, the next day it's 40, overcast (or raining) and the wind's blowing.

Update:

It was great! Around 12 miles of fast single track with some more technical sections, my usual loop.
Waking up the neighbourhood with U2's 'Pride' on the way home.
Daumn, I feel like 20 again.
:D:beer:

I hope you all had a great Easter too.

I wish it rained less here so I could ride more often.

Mtn biking in the rain is not my idea of fun.

Until you get to a spot where last year a friend broke his collar bone, and within 5 seconds you watch a friend roll and break his wrist

those are both cool, but dirtbiking with a nice Honda or Yamaha rules them all. I'd rather twist the throttle than have to peddle all day.

My mountain bike is currently serving commuter-bike duty so no trails for me right now. I did get in about 100 miles of road riding over the weekend though. Weather was overcast and misting both days, but never did open up and rain. Taking the day off riding-wise today.....riding and working in the yard all weekend kicked my butt. It was all I could do to get out of bed this morning.
