It is a bad, stuck pixel or bad graphic card?

Hey. Until yesterday i have strange problem. When i woke my monitor from sleep mode ( after few hours ) then on screen i have a strange blue little dot. That dot dissapears automatically after maybe 10 minutes of using monitor. I have that problem always when i woke up my monitor from sleepmode after few hours. Its something bad with GPU or monitor?

I found in youtube some movie with similiar issue ( but like i say in my situation i have a single blue dot in one certain place on screen )

Card is Asus Gtx 780 DCII ( temps in 2d are low 28 C )
Monitor is: LED BenQ G2250

Your rig is solid and stable. That blue dot might start to appear in different places.

Its the monitor that is busted. Use until you get 2 dots then RMA her or something.

It's your monitor. If it doesn't bother you than forget about it. If it does than buy a $250 27" 1920x1080 SAMSUNG LCD. Must be Samsung. Everything else is garbage IMHO.

Since the dot is moving, that is not a dead pixel. If your dead pixel is in one spot, and never moves, that is the monitor.

If the dot is black and remains like that .. its dead.

If the dot is in a certain place.. but changes colour.. its stuck..

If the dots appear at diff places, its either the GPU , or monitor problem.

Do a stuck pixel test
